A Far Cry

Wait…
One year, Two years, Three years…..Six years
How do you feel when someone waits for you for so many years?
How do you feel when someone knows everything about you?
How do you feel when someone spends her teenage with your name?
How do you feel when she waits her life…?
For a smile from you…
Suddenly life travels backwards …
To feel those ignored smiles…
To see those pains in one’s eyes
Fairytales are not fairytales
How do you feel when an angel touches you?
Everything becomes blurred only a face exists then!!!
The maze of life fades away
And a joy of belongingness settles down!!!
Surprises and miracles was a distant dream
But how do you feel when they suddenly strike your door?
Those unnoticed gaze and those stolen kisses regenerates…
When those dried flowers of someone’s diary touches your heart
How do you feel when someone finds her lost love in you?
Is it a far cry or an unheard cry within you…I still wonder?

What Is The Best Thing About Spain?

8 O’clock, Madrid Barajas International airport...yes.... when I jumped from the seat of my aero plane to get the first glimpse of Madrid (the capital of Spain)..."O boy, from there a fairytale starts. Hotel Convencion, where my room number was 1023 is located in Goya Street shopping and residential area from where I had easy access through M-30 and M-40 ring roads, which connects my hotel with Madrid Barajas International Airport and Juan Carlos 1 trade and fair complex. My hotel was also close to Atocha shopping district and chamartin railway stations.

The first thing, which I really found amazing, was the traffic sense of the Spaniards .I found it really funny at first instant to see people waiting to cross the road though the road was empty. They strictly follow the red lights unlike us. Streets were just fascinating rather lyrical as the maple leaves covered them to give it a poetic touch. The people were of course beautiful. I was swept by their hospitality as they with so much care showed us the route we asked for though they didn’t speak English. Their gestures are enough to fall in love with them. I can never forget those sips of red and white wine, martini, Heineken in the wee hours of the morn...calling home at awkward hours. Hola means hello is the word, which the Spaniards uses often for greeting you. No-doubt the whole Europe is tourist friendly but I found Spaniards to be the most decent people on earth. They are very quite and approachable. They are not at all loud but they love loud music for sure. They are like easygoing as well as hardworking. Their parks are crowded with carefree lovebirds. They moreover believe in the display of public affection. I wonder if the Garden of Eden has been inspired from the central park of Madrid.

One-euro posh buses, the well-connected metro can make your stay quite cheap and easy. Though the bullfight was little disappointing still I really enjoyed being part of that great historical event of Spain. Madrid vision buses were really one cool thing where we saw the whole Madrid seating and standing in the rooftop open buses. My hobby for photography regenerated to treasure some of my memorable moments in Spain. Oh! I forgot to tell you, I went for my international exposure with a group of friends from college. We visited companies like Pascual dairy (the leading dairy product manufacturer of Spain), Talgo company well known trains, Turespana the administrative unit of the central Government in charge of promoting Spain abroad as a tourist destination, El-Mundo (the leading newspaper of Spain) and Anis chin chon a wine manufacturing industry and many more Phew. Long list of companies in just 15 days but I stole time to see all places as possible. Santiago Bernavu Real Madrid Stadium from where I bought a football for my small museum.

How can I forget the Cleopatra of Madrid, the great Gran Via? I did a below lip piercing for 18 euros. I have been through each and every corner to see every side of life. Those groups of backstreet boys, the gang of rock lovers, those dancers, those beautiful women still makes me wake up at middle of the night and hopelessly I see my bed. Madrid is one of the most preferred tourist destinations in the world. You should never miss a chance to visit this wonderful place.

Lyrical morning….

Out of a sudden I woke up …..
A feeling of bliss suddenly touched my heart
A light of joy felt
And my life changed for awhile!!!
Well this morning seems to be different…
Miracles visited my essence…
And my cup of tea gave me that divine soothe
Well my romantic heart blossomed…
Fresh words came out from my retarded soul
Oh!!!What has happened to me?
Why this morning seems to be so different?
Why I am not sad?
Why I am smiling…today!!!
I can see those maple leaves yet again
And those sweet musical chords of guitar
Reverberating in me!!!
This morning is different
‘Cause I am happy.
The darkness of my room faded away
the saccharine breeze touching me.
Well am feeling those moments again
Those lovely graduation days…
Am feeling young today…
Goodmorning to this expressive morning
‘Cause it’s so lyrical….

Recollections

Phew!!!

Today is the first day of 2007….again a new year….and when I immediately look back….I can see many pictures, many incidents, many friends, many memories…. Trying to fade away with the dawn of this year…how can I let them go so easily….how can I forget them, how can I leave them without treasuring those blissful moments of last year. So I thought of penning it down!!!
Today every memory is visiting me and in every memory I can find a story!!!
Well this is not my diary of nostalgia but a story untold. Can I stop those unspoken echoes of my soul to get washed out with the sands of the so-called Time? Well my journey of life can’t continue without those lovely incidents which I found in my trip…. to my destination. How can I overlook those people who brought smile to my face whom I never met ,never knew… don’t even know whether I will meet them in my entire journey or not but moments shared with them will always remain in the backdrop of my mind….Oh!!!When I look flipside, I can see a group of friends …self-proclaimed pied pipers with full zest preparing for presentations….. Busy in photo sessions for their promotion .The photo perhaps never got planted in the walls of their college! But you can hit upon it in someone’s room now…..Why memories make me crave to bring together those happy moments spent with my friends…I remember last year’s valentines day when I met someone very sweet…we became so close that day that we forgot the world and really tried to make our own little kingdom of dreams….but you know nothing is forever so again my friend walked away slowly without saying a bye….those parties ,our so-called paathsaala near our college will be remembered…but life has to go on ….You lose old friends and then new friends comes to replace them and again a new relationship starts ..And you become happy….Well 2006 …..My first distant trip to Spain once more brings some unforgettable memories …the maple leaves and my first look of the beautiful city of Madrid beckons! Well I enjoyed my trip to the land of bull fight where I did a below lip piercing. Life isn’t so short I guess. Its difficult to capture those beautiful emotions of my life, those smile in only one page…..Someone rightly said that…Stop pacing the aisles and measuring the distance. Instead, climb more mountains, eat more ice-cream, go barefoot more often, swim more rivers, watch more sunsets, laugh more, and love more. Live life as you go along. So I decided to continue my journey …..relishing every moment….Well 23rdNovember is again a day of my life as my dear sister walks away with glory in her bridal suite leaving us to an another family…..though that day I didn’t even cry because I felt so dry inside.….the heaviness inside my heart is still felt when I said my last bye to my sister….childhood memories came as a flashback where I saw myself and my sister fighting for some chocolates!!! I saw my papa’s eyes… I can see the pain of being a father and handing over his daughter to another person and a family…but still this is life and I enjoyed my sister’s marriage fully. Thought of even getting married! Well I cant end this year without saying about some of the nicest people on earth…with whom I talk whole day….with whom we talk ‘bout our traits… I really love to be with them…I know they will be smiling reading this because they know how important they are for me…..they are my support system…..well today , my mind is full of some unbreakable resolutions….hope I will succeed in keeping them…..I want to make this year…. “a year of love and happiness”…hope my dreams see the light of the day…..well this recollections will never fade as I have treasured them now…. So my boy can see a bright light of star shine is calling him……He is found walking towards the light now….well life has to go on ….So is the tale of that boy called ‘me’!!!
