Ex Girlfriends, Ghosts and That Secret Potion of Desire

Sweet melodies of yesteryears often soothe his soul. Confused past, hazy memoirs and long drives in his father’s old gypsy illuminates his apartment. The shadows of his ex girlfriends keep haunting him. Those larger than life greeting cards, those soft toys, those bracelets, those watches, those letters are locked inside his closet. Time changes, feelings evolve, old friends reunites. The air never remains the same.

How to Tweet Like Jim Morrison

Microblogging! The new addition to the content hungry universe is making everyone bit crazy. Some people are investing hefty sum of money to gain followers, some folks tweeting extra sensible quotes, some individuals trying to be little humorous, the celebrities gaining millions of followers overnight and some people are still dazed. They retweet, copy paste some old quotations, sometimes news and views and most of the times they just keep gazing at the time line without having any words to write.

Winter Loneliness - Why Loneliness is Ecstatic?

The music of David Gilmour (On an Island) is creating a dreamlike ambience; the loner is busy writing his chronicle in his studio apartment, he is capturing the ecstasy of being lonely in an overcrowded city. He is mutely inhaling the drifting joy and the lingering silence, he is growing from within, he is catching the stars, and he is alive…

Rustic Freedom!

Sometimes the end happily looks good.

The celebration for a brand new year has already begun.

The sky is clear and hearts warmer.

There is a melody in the air,

sweet fragrances of newly born flowers is making the ambiance quite friendly.

The rustic aroma of my hometown is convincing me to hum.

I have no words left to appreciate this gratifying dawn.

Away from the maddening crowd, here I am in this radiant place.

The materialism is left far behind.

This is what I call bliss.

The beginning is nearby.

Let’s celebrate now!

Geeks Are Sane – How Geeks Are Created?

Everyone think geeks are exceptionally obsessed with technology. People believe them to be insane and unwanted. Girls avoid them, friends hate them but I love them. I think Geeks are sane. They are human and they have emotions too. We have no right to curse their passion. We have no right to call them hackers. I have a different story to tell.

How Geeks are created?

Human beings become criminals because of circumstances, people become practical and extremely professional because of their job pressure but a geek in us created due to various factors. They try to feel life but when they see no appreciation coming then they switch onto the virtual world to get those pleasures. They buy gadgets and play games to satiate themselves; they socialize virtually to find true love and they blog! All bloggers may not be necessarily geeks but they have a hint of escapism. We are seeing writers turning into geeks. They are trying to decipher the various facets of technology. It’s not surprising to see a poet turning into blogging guru. The story of geeks always fascinated me. They aren’t ugly but they are cute. They look good in specs; they are the next generation CEOs and visionaries.

Geeks are inquisitive, urban and romantic. They can be extremely passionate with their partners if they find any. They are hungry for love. They are human beings. Please stop annoying them. If you are a geek and reading this then you should be proud of your awareness. You should never get depressed, because companies like Google, Twitter, Facebook and Microsoft are created by geeks and the world is following them now. The party isn’t over, it’s just getting better.

Stop Trying Harder – It’s Time To Stop Trying Harder, It’s Time To Live Life!

Are you trying harder everyday to achieve your goals? Are you trying harder to impress somebody? Are you exhausted? Everyone craves to taste success. Everyone is dying to shine. The world is pacing at light speed. We are giving up our sleep for making a successful morning. Our hearts are becoming empty with each passing day. We are dead.

It’s time to stop trying harder; it’s time to live life!

The idea of a perfect world is misunderstood by humanity. The never-ending marathon is killing us. Our greed for money and fame are making us crazy. They are slowly killing us. We are becoming dangerous. We are trying harder for everything. Relationships are falling apart because of our hunger for perfection. We are becoming choosy. We are never satisfied. We read success stories, we follow the big guys but we never realize their moment of failure. We only recognize them when they are big. You are doing nothing but killing your soul if you are trying harder to make a difference because some amount of patience and planning can give us tremendous success. Stop trying harder for feeling and enjoying success. Stop striving for perfection. Just plan, dream and wait.

I have seen people trying harder for earning money. I have seen them working day and night. I am not an exception. I try hard for everything. I have tried hard to improve myself, I have tried hard to impress my boss, I have tried to make my friends happy, I have tried hard to write a sensible copy, I have tried to shine but now I am completely exhausted and tired. I want to rest. I want to grow without trying harder. I am not going to change my plan of action rather I am going to live a life with a soul. I will try to feel the joy of an evening walk with a friend. I will watch more movies and I will smile more. This is the end. I am not going to try harder. I am going to experiment with harmony. I am no more living a life of passionate detachment. Let’s change the world without trying harder…

License To Dream - Flaunt Your Dreams With Flamboyance Before It’s Too Late!

I have renewed my license to dream, what about you? The advent of a brand new year gives me enough reasons to celebrate. I can feel the dawn. The year is finally ending. It’s gradually fading. The next chapter seems interesting. I can see the silver lining amid darkness. 2010 is definitely going to change everyone’s life. The ugly face of recession will metamorphose into a beautiful lady called development. Unlike 2009, the coming year will bring happiness, love and freedom. It will unlock newer vistas of hope.

Flaunt Your Dreams with Flamboyance before It’s Too Late!

The year of anticipation has finally arrived. People say that, excess dreaming leads to madness. They also say it’s a waste of time because they hardly exploit their dreams like I do. Dreams motivate me every now and then. Dreams are like cup of hot teas for writers, poets, painters and even entrepreneurs because they are extremely stimulating. They can inspire you every morning. They can make you feel happy as well as sad. Life without dreams is dry, mundane and boring.

Dreaming is an unconscious art. It’s an abstract phenomenon that everybody experiences everyday but only a selected bunch recognizes its importance. Dreams can be life changing. They can give you all the answers for free. Most of the greatest personalities are inspired by dreams that changed their life. They woke up with an inspiration that became a revolution.

Flaunting your dreams is the best way to express yourself. It gives you endless boundaries. The fusion of dreams and reality makes a nice cocktail. It makes us clueless. Our wings suddenly vanish when dreams meet reality. Sometimes it breaks into pieces and it really takes time to gather all the broken pieces. The never ending tug of war between daydreaming and reality is Life! In order to move ahead without getting hurt, we have to consume the right mixture of dream and reality. An unbalanced proportion can be dangerous. So never stop dreaming because they make your reality and vice versa…

The Story Of A Stranger!

20th December, 2006, St.Edmund College, Hostel No 25, 9.30 pm: Hey Rajan! Finally I am going home—John said to his room mate. Well, I have to pack my things now. Only three hours left for my flight. Dude! Can you please help me? Ya Sure--- Rajan said. John is Christian while Rajan is a pakka Brahmin. John is carefree while Rajan is extremely practical and tidy. Yet, they are best friends. So, what are you going to do this Christmas? Rajan asked John. Well, nothing as such, I will spend time with my family. Only family? Rajan asked. Well, I have to meet my girl friend too brother. She must be waiting for me - John smiles. 10.30 pm: So, It’s time for me to leave brother. Take care and Merry Christmas in advance- John left the room and Rajan was all alone in the hostel. Rajan was feeling miserable. He was missing his home too but he decided to stay back because of his studies. He can’t afford to fail again. It was raining outside. So, he decided to bunk his meals. He prepared maggi instead. He was feeling lonely and abandoned that day. 11.30pm: Suddenly someone knocked his door. Who is outside? Rajan shouted with some kind of annoyance as he was low that day. Is it Rajan? A voice came from outside. Yes—Rajan replied. Can you please open the door? Ok—Rajan reluctantly opens the door. It’s raining like hell man—the boy said. Well, who are you? Rajan asked. Hi! I am Vivek! Vivek was tall, pale and handsome guy. He was smiling constantly to see the room. He was staring the walls and the cupboards. Vivek was an ex student of St. Edmund College. Actually, he was staying in the same room where Rajan and John is currently staying. Vivek started to tell Rajan about his college days. Vivek asked Rajan about his English Professor. Rajan was happy to meet him because Vivek was extremely a bright student. The shine in his face was mesmerizing. So, Rajan! Do you have a girl friend? No brother—Rajan replied. I still remember by moments with my girlfriend Tarana in this room. I can still see her sitting there in that chair—Vivek said. So, when are you guys going marry? Rajan asked. Vivek took a long breath and gave him a wedding invitation card. The card says Tarana Weds Rahul. Rajan didn’t see further as he was no more interested. Tomorrow Tarana is getting married but I am not depressed. She found her soul mate in Rahul. What can I do? Rajan told him to cheer up. Don’t worry; you will get a better girl than her for sure. Vivek smiled and said bye to Rajan. 12.30 pm: Rajan decided to study whole night. He planted himself in front of the table lamp. It’s was still raining outside. Rajan saw the invitation card and got tempted to read it. The card was beautifully designed—Rajan said to himself. He opened the card that says: Tarana Weds Rahul, 21st December, 1979! (That was Vivek’s spirit talking to him. He committed suicide the night before her marriage in Room No. 25) It was still raining outside…. The story of a stranger ends here…. Keep reading! (Fiction)

New Moon Review India – The Twilight Saga New Moon Reviewed!

Time: 15:45 (24 Hrs Format), Row K Seat 3 & 4, Audi 03 PVR Anupam, Saket, New Delhi.

Finally New Moon is here in India! I and my friend Abhishek decided to see the movie. We are movie freaks. We can’t wait. We planted ourselves in our seats to witness the much-awaited, much-hyped movie called New Moon. The three main characters of the movie Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) were all looking “beautiful”. The first part of the movie was quite slow and boring but the second part is extremely gorgeous. The beauty of the whole movie is its simplicity and its subtleness. The vampires look classy while the werewolves look rustic. The woods, lovely cliffs and maple leaves are fully exploited by the director. The element of a fairytale makes the movie totally sweet and poetic. The pop music played in the background was just awesome.

The love triangle was charming. Get ready to watch some funny moments, especially after Bella discovers about Jacob Black’s were wolf avatar. New Moon is especially designed for people who love fiction more than reality. It’s all about pain, love, and unrequited love. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The cliff jumping scene was especially great. The romance between vampire and human is simply mouthwatering. The chemistry between Bella and Edward was a treat to my eyes. Yet, we can’t ignore Jacob’s protective nature. He is the soul of this movie unfortunately he never gets a chance to smooch Bella.

Poor Jacob was used badly. He was left begging for love. It was quite rude but true love is all about loving the person you love and that’s Edward for Bella. New Moon is definitely a must watch for everybody. It’s a cute film with extremely beautiful characters. I am waiting eagerly for the next part.

Verdict: Hit

Midnight Story – Midnight Tale About 3 Girls

Faint light, second class compartment, fading sound of the train and 3 girls!
(This is not an everyday midnight story).

I am surely going to meet Rahul this time---Sonal says with enthusiasm to Reema. Radhika as usual was glued to her favorite book “The Secret”. She loves to go through this book again and again as she finds it truly motivational. She hardly wants any intervention. Radhika is a true Sagittarian. Nobody understands her philosophies while Sonal is an Aries. She is a kid. Reema is boring. She loves to blabber but she is a gem of a person. Three different characters, one common compartment, 12 o’clock midnight and a story to remember!

Midnight Tale About 3 Girls

It will take 10 more hours to reach Delhi—Reema said. Sonal is in love with an online friend called Rahul. They are complete strangers. It’s time to sleep girls—Radhika whispered. Actually she got irritated by their nonsensical talks. Suddenly, the train slowed down. It began to move slowly. I think there is a station ahead---Sonal said. No, I think the train slowed down due to some traffic. Finally, the train started pacing.. Thank God…Sonal said.

1 o’clock, Sonal and Reema was still busy with their useless blabber. Radhika was asleep. She must be dreaming about her ex-boyfriend----Reema said. I agree—Sonal replied. Suddenly a man enters. May I sit here---he was polite. Yes, sure uncle—Reema said. They continued to talk about their life and the man kept listening to them.

After 10 minutes--- Blood drops! Sonal shouted. She was shocked to see blood falling endlessly from the man’s body. His shawl was completely drenched with blood but the man wasn’t showing any pain. Reema did try to help the man but he resented. Radhika at the mean time woke up after hearing this. We should call a doctor immediately—Radhika said. Blood drops began to fall continuously. Sonal got fainted and Reema was helpless. The train was almost empty. The man told them not to panic. He became grumpy. The train began to slow down again. The man stood up. He tried to manage his shawl with one hand. Actually, he was carrying a cut off hand of a newly wed bride, which was all covered with expensive ornaments. The man left the compartment and jumped off the slowly moving train. The man was a dacoit…The story ends here.

Let’s Celebrate Now – Santa Claus, Celebrations, New Year and Me!

Hazy pictures, chaotic life, unrequited love and a thinking soul. Let’s celebrate life now. When things stop moving your way, you feel dejected and lonely. You crave for a distant smile, a comfortable cuddle and an eternal bliss. I have started feeling the sweet fragrance of flowers, jingle bells and humane celebrations. I can feel love all around me. I am getting swayed by the tranquility and peace that I hope to achieve next year. My dreams are growing and my mind is completely at peace. I am waiting for Santa Claus.

I am waiting for 2010, and I am waiting for a new beginning.

Santa Claus, Celebrations, New Year and Me!

I have thrown all negativity out of the window. I am not a good child but I still expect gifts from Santa Claus. I am motivated now. I saw a dream yesterday. I am very bad at remembering things but I can never forget this reverie. I saw God! I was literally smiling. He gave me a pen without ink to write my name in a piece of paper. I forgot to write. I was struggling to write my name. I was shouting in my silence but suddenly I saw the piece of paper given by Him. My name was already written there. Suddenly, I woke up. I got my manna. God never wants his creation to suffer. He is always helping us, he is always following us. It’s time to celebrate because He wants to shed all tears. He wants to be happy. The change in season is nothing but his mood swings. Tsunami, earthquakes and terrorism is nothing but his anger. So, let’s celebrate for Him. Let’s make love not war…

No Motivation – What’s Your Motivation Story?

No motivation. I need constant incentives for moving ahead. I feel exhausted very easily. It becomes terribly depressing sometimes. Sunday evenings, lazy Mondays, slow Tuesdays, heavy Wednesdays, surprising Thursdays, relaxed Fridays and finally a Saturday. I am almost dead till I reach a peaceful Sunday. Hell! It’s becoming frustrating with each passing day. I feel like a zombie with a soul. The year is coming to an end and I am still at the same place, still wearing the same set of clothes, still having the same dreams, still searching for a new beginning.

What’s Your Motivation Story?

The story of everyone’s life is becoming boring and uninspiring. Silence has descended without a reason. Everybody is finally waiting for a brand new year ahead. I am waiting to sing my break free song too. 2010 will obviously bring lots of motivation to our lives. It will be full of flowers and love. So, if you are depressed and lonely than you should try to change your life little bit next year. Try to make a good habit and follow it at least for 5 days. Dream more!

Oh! Finally this depressing year is ending. It was an extremely miserable year for me. I have lost everything including peace this year. Eventually, I have learnt to survive without motivation unlike my yesteryears. The amount of pain suddenly rose higher without a reason. Dark nights, messy mornings, lazy afternoons and mundane evenings tortured me a lot. The time for rejuvenation has finally arrived. It’s time to celebrate. It’s time to smile. Finally I have learnt the art of self motivation. What about you?

Taylor Lautner – Why Indian Girls love Taylor Lautner More Than Robert Pattinson?

Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson have only one thing in common, that’s Twilight. I am a twilight fan and I really like vampires and werewolves. It may sound cliche but both of these guys have totally different personalities and appearances. Robert is pale while Taylor is brown. Indian girls are fond of Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) because of his boyish charm and irresistible body. He definitely scores high than Robert who actually looks like a vampire. Pale is still to be in fashion here. Till then Jacob Black gets all the attention from Indian curvaceous and beautiful girls.

Why Indian Girls love Taylor Lautner More Than Robert Pattinson?

Indian girls love Taylor Lautner because of his down to earth look. They like him because of his heavenly body and extremely honest smile. Although Robert is enjoying all the attention in the west but Taylor is definitely seducing hearts in the east.

Everyone is talking about his Greek body and chocolaty charm. Even Robert Pattinson is jealous of his well-curved abs. Jacob Black’s role was definitely expanded with passion and love by Stephenie Meyer – the writer. She actually got infatuated with the character and thought of giving it a larger than life image.

So females let’s check out the qualities he wants in his girl:

Taylor Lautner loves outgoing and uncomplicated girls who can be also ridiculous and sweet at the same time. Yet, he hates animated parties. He is an Aquarius hence he is extremely charismatic and possesses a natural gift of gab. Like all Aquarians, his silence and limited display of emotions is often misjudged. He loves to hang around with girls who can open up without a second thought. He basically likes a genuine girl.

So girls what’s your verdict ---- Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black) or Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen)?

A Day Without Sunshine and A Night Without Moonlight!

Everyone is accustomed to a sun drenched morning. The dawn symbolizes hope, light and cheerfulness. Can you imagine a day without sunshine? It sounds fictional but if the sun denies waking up one morning and the night refuse to end. We take everything for granted. When things start moving in a wrong direction, we whine and we curse our destiny but we never realize our sin. The world is facing a global crisis because of us. It’s experiencing tsunami and earth quakes because of us.

Our planet is getting warmer and warmer. Humanity is on the verge of extinction and we are still craving for more. We can’t stay behind but we can surely make a difference. We are making movies like 2012 that showcases the end of humanity within few hours. We are talking about nuclear power but the fact is we are getting transformed into robots and the reality is that we can’t escape.

We have to accept the truth that we are born in 21st century. We have seen tremendous growth but we have missed the world wars and freedom struggles. We have seen the brighter side of life. We are talking about social media and blogging. We are driving posh cars and using snazzy laptops and mobiles. Life is becoming easier and easier. We are lucky to experience this phase but we are going overboard. We hardly think of stopping a while.

Our constant craving for success is making us mad. We are getting addicted, drunken and lost. We are becoming confused, dazed and mechanical. I am waiting for a day without sunshine because I want to take a break. I want to sleep whole day. I want to dream…
