A Ghost-Writer’s Tale

Many terrific tales are told
Many new lives are formed
Many stories are moulded into books
Many autobiographies are written without a soul.

Poor, needy and sometimes generous
He walks a lonely road of hope
Unrecognised, unacknowledged, unfulfilled
Disguised, dilapidated and heartbroken
He walks through everything without a company

The tale of a ghost-writer has never been told
The rich and famous needs them without their name.
The ghost of a ghost-writer can be dangerous
They can be furious, frustrated and even reckless

They are free from criticism and applause
They are not worried about plagiarism
They live a life without a soul
A dead man is better than a ghost-writer.
There graves looks dull
A ghost-writer’s tale is gloomy

Many terrific tales are told
Many new lives are formed
Many stories are moulded into books
Many autobiographies are written without a soul.
I wish I could write about them
I wish I could make them as popular as the stars
I wish I could stop them from writing without their name…

(This poem is dedicated to all the ghost-writers of the world)
