Crimson Mood

The image of a faded postcard
And some lines written on it,
The waning shadows of past
And some cloudy memories
Keep me awake at the middle of the night.

The music player shuffles my collection with flair
The silence of solitude gives me no fear.
Far away in a secluded isle
Some words wait for me.
The waning shadows of past
And some cloudy memories
Tries to transform and soothe me.

The darkness of night makes me rise
The shadows of street posts give me no fright.
Far away in a secluded isle
Some words wait for me.

Deep within the heart of my soul
There is a howl of hope.
The postcard flies away
The lines written on it disappears
And the waning shadows no more appears.

Is my poem reflecting meaningless thoughts?
Are my words exuding emptiness?
The lines written on that postcard
Is yet to be completed…

  6. Abstract and yet profound, I have noticed this is probably your signature style of writing, correct me if I am wrong ?

I agre with Parth, something's are not meant to be complete, for from that incompleteness comes the best of a creative mind, Cheers!
