That Invisible One Room Apartment…

-->

Away from the outer world, away from the chaos, away from everything – he dwells in his own beautiful galaxy. He mutely praises beauty, he voraciously read poetry. He walks through the aisles, collects soft pebbles; he finds bliss in his solitary dreams.

The doorbell often rings, the gate never makes a sound, the silence and the soothing breeze keeps accompanying him – everyday, everytime. The walls of his living room caresses him, words give him wings. He tries to feel the symphony of a nightingale. He hopelessly craves for that divine sunshine. He walks like a confused traveller amid known people. His blank face entertains nobody.

Sometimes he feels suffocated with the everlasting silence, sometimes he tries to play loud music, and sometimes he just closes his eyes to see the greenery around. He tries to dance alone; he tries to sing at the top of his voice. He prepares Oscar winning speeches, he writes disconnected prose.

He talks about old bicycle, life and memories. The ugly tide never leaves him though. His mind always revolves around poetry, music and love. He behaves like an urban bard. Jim Morrison, Pink Floyd, Angaraag Mahanta keeps him alive. He is addicted to almost anything and everything. People think he is lost somewhere between reality and dreams. He is treated like a junk by all. His lips are almost dry, his existence is almost indiscernible. This is the story of that guy who lives in that invisible one room apartment located somewhere in the world…

  4. Dreamy, heart-felt, deeply emotional. Is it semi-autobiographical too? :P
