Is Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them the New Magical Cult?

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Welcome to the world of extreme magic. If you want to watch a movie that will make you escape from the tormented realities of life, this movie may help you cross the horizon of truth. Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is all about the fantastic world that looks believable. No less than a masterpiece, this movie will surely entertain you. Gone are the days of Harry Potter, most of its fans are young adults by now but the legacy continues. Now that the movie shifts its base from the United Kingdom to North America and tells a story about magic that existed 70 years before the advent of Harry Potter days, the movie surely is a well-crafted prequel to the much acclaimed Harry Potter series. You don’t have to be a die-hard Harry Potter fan to enjoy Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them rather this film gives you a second chance to start afresh and I am no exception.

The movie showcases fantastic animals, great visuals and flamboyant acting skills from all the characters, however, the movie slows down a bit after the intermission. Interestingly, the movie flaunts a real soul at the end. J. K Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them ends with a bang. The protagonist Newt Scamander, a magizoologist played by eccentric Eddie Redmayne is the main highlight of the movie. His quest to preserve the fantastic beasts in his suitcase looks utterly implausible. Other characters like Katherine Waterston as Tina, Dan Fogler as Jacob, Alison Sudol as Queenie did an incredible job too. I really enjoyed Jacob’s role as ‘no-maj’ in the movie. I could easily relate to his character as I feel like a newcomer to the world created by J.K Rowling. I made it a point to watch this movie just to start afresh as I missed all the Harry Potter movies during my childhood days. Being a Lord of the Rings fan, I never had a craze for Harry Potter movies but this movie gives me second chance to explore the world of wizardry again.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is directed by David Yates and I think he was extremely accurate in creating a world that looked so real. You are destined to feel the magic outside the theatre. This movie is all about the power of imagination and who else better than J.K Rowling knows it. The movie is flooded with non-human characters still you won’t feel suffocated with the overdose of computer generated creatures. It would be a crime if I don't praise niffler, a black, fluffy long-snouted creature that loves anything that glitters. The other creatures in the movie include Thunderbirds, Bowtruckles, House-elves, Hippogriffs, Goblins, Merpeople, Demiguise, Occamys, Basilisks, Phoenixes, Mountain Trolls and Swooping Evil. The character profile of all these creatures can be accessed at Pottermore. The movie has no major villain as such but the sequels of the movie promise to have a larger than life antagonist in the form of Gellert Grindelwald. Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is not a children’s movie hence all the Harry Potter fans can easily relate and enjoy the dark world of magic with equal ease.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them is one of the finest films that not only entertains you but also creates a new universe for people who would love to take refuge in the whimsical world of magic. If you want to be a part of this universe, you should definitely watch this movie. This film sets a new standard for all the fantasy fiction fans, writers and filmmakers.
